There are various definitions of periods in a child's development, since each period is a continuum with individual differences regarding start and ending. We have divided age-related development periods into four stages:
Our goal is to help parents understand what is taking place in their child's brain and body during each stage, with the hope that they will be able to provide the necessary support, encouragement, structure and interventions to enable a child to progress through each stage as smoothly and successfully as possible, based on each child's unique set of traits and interests.
Each product is designed based on our CPS concept of key skills (cognitive, physical and social skills) and comes with a detailed description that tells parents how to target a range of different skills, including knowledge, creativity and play.
